Libby Henson is a graduate of Denison University, B. A. in economics and the University of Akron, College of Law, J. D. She brings to the firm over 40 years of experience in workers’ compensation law. In 1993, Attorneys Henson and McGonegal founded the firm and, since then, have been joined by Adeeb Houston and Ellice Bostock as partners.
Mrs. Henson has testified on workers’ compensation legislation before the Ohio State Legislature. She has argued cases before the Ohio Supreme Court, Ohio appellate courts, and jury trials in numerous county common pleas courts.
Over the years, as a practicing attorney, she has been engaged in probate, personal injury, social security, real estate, and family law, but her main emphasis has been in the field of workers’ compensation. She has been certified as a specialist in workers’ compensation by the Ohio State Bar Association.
She has held memberships in the American Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association (sustaining member), Stark County Bar Association, Tuscarawas County Bar Association, Ohio Association for Justice (formerly Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers), and Stark County Association for Justice (formerly Stark County Academy of Trial Lawyers). Presently she serves as “Of Counsel” for the firm.
